Apps For Checking Scores That Show Pregame Odds With The Live Score
Main Post:
I've used the Yahoo Sports app for a couple years now and I liked it because it would show the pregame odds with the live scores on the main page.
All of a sudden yesterday it stopped showing the pregame odds on the main page and now I have to click on each individual game to see it. Not a big deal obviously but I like to check live NCAA basketball scores, look for big pregame favorites that are down but have plenty of time to come back, and parlay two or three of them together for some great odds.
When live betting like this, time is of the essence so a bunch of extra clicks makes this way more difficult. Anyone know of any apps that show the pregame odds with the live scores on the same page?
Top Comment: Definitely go with theScore. It has everything you’re looking for and more.
Exact score betting
Main Post:
Hi guys,
I'm betting more than 14 years on football, basketball and tennis. If you put all on paper I think that I've lost more than I won but the numbers aren't catastrophic. I assume that there are masses of people like me in the world :)My normal betting slip was between 4-7 matches with 1.6 on average for a match. I was chasing the favorite home teams, something mixing with 3+ goals, both team to score and stuff.... and like always there was that ONE match that needed to screw me over.Something changed in last couple months, I've started watching statistics more, watching past h2h matches, team form, in depth and found small light in the tunnel.I've found that it is not that hard to predict exact score of one match, especially if you have a 3-4 tries to do that.My idea was to put 5 different scores on 1 match and play just like that. Average cote for 2:0 is 7.8, 2:1 is 8, 3:1 is 9.2 ... You get the idea. So for 5 euros invested I've had a chance to earn 7.8+ euros. Also, cotes depend on the teams, league and placement.I started investing 1 euro for the test fore each match and in average there were 6 matches that I've chosen every day. After 2 weeks, I've had 200+ euros on my account.
Now I'm doing 2 different strategies with same idea : 2 matches with exact score on bet slip with 5 different results. So it means each match 5 scores * 5 scores = 25 bet slips * investment. On average if you had good feeling and chosen wisely on minimum you are earning 35×money investment.
2nd strategy is : 4 different results for 3 matches (each mach 4 scores), 4×4x4 = 64 bet slips * investment. With this you need little bit more chance but winning are much bigger.
I would like to hear your thoughts about this and any propositions
Top Comment: I've found that the odds on 0-0, 0-1, 1-0 and 1-1 tend to be good value historically. Most people who bet on scorelines are fans who want to see lots of goals. The bookies therefore have to offer good odds on the low scores to manage their exposure across the market. Edit: Burnley 1-0 (when they are at home) has been my favourite bet for years.
Losing on betting... how to recover? Maybe with live scores?
Main Post:
Hello friends... just looking for some advice... just want to hear other opinions...
Im down almost $4K on betting and gambling... getting some crazy... but is my money, im not getting into debts or credit cards.
What are yout thoughts about chasing 10% or 5% of payment every day or multiple times in a day, starting at $10, playing the safest way: Watching live scores of matches that the timematch or results is hard to fail... i mean for example, betting in soccer matches that are in final 5 minutes, or NBA in the latest minutes of the 4rd quarter. Have you tried ir before? I need some suggestions about tring to recover the loses
Best to you
Top Comment: Never chase your losses. It can get real real dangerous. I’d say take the L to the chin, and regroup. Maybe take a small break until there’s a bet you absolutely LOVE. Remember betting everyday does NOT equal success.
Live Betting: Bet365 alternative for live score and live killfeed?
Main Post:
On many matches, Bet365 offers not only the live (0 delay) score, but also how many players on each team are still alive. Even more recently, they started displaying the players' money and guns as well.
This is such important information for live betting. However, Bet365 only displays this information on some matches and sometimes stops providing this info mid-match. I'm wondering if any other site displays this information?

Hi! Problem with Bet365 4 scores challange
Main Post:
So I predicted 3/4 scores right for the last 4 games in the 4 scores. The prizes are 50k for 4/4 and 10k in bet credits for 3/4. I won 2 € in bet credits... Do they say anywhere how many participated or won these prizes? Or are they just scamming people with these challenges. Cause if i won 2 € that means exactly 5000 won the 10k which i think is quite unlikely.
Predictions:
Slovenia 1-1 Serbia W Denmark 1-1 England W Spain 2-1 Italy L Argentina 2-0 Canada W
Top Comment: I think with the results being so common, many other people would have also predicted those scores
How do sports books update live scores and lines so quickly?
Main Post:
I’ve noticed certain books (FD and DK) always beat out ESPN score updates and when I’ve been at events myself, I find myself checking the books to see how good they are in real time, and it almost seems like they beat out the actual games even.
I’ve always thought it’s people at the events themselves manually doing/updating things with momentum swings and likely scoring opportunities (basketball), but there’s gotta be a better explanation
Top Comment: Most of the time, there's a stats recorder(s) employed by the league at the game. They are professionals and they use special equipment that allows them to log play-by-play in real time. The league then sells the information to various companies, namely books and media. Those customers process the info and passes it onto the end user. While ESPN and DK receive the information at the same time, it is in DK's interest to invest everything they can in always having the most up to date information. If they can cut the processing delay from 2 seconds to 0.5 seconds, they'll do it even if it costs millions. Meanwhile, ESPN doesn't care if the information takes up to 10 seconds to be processed, since that's about the delay it takes to broadcast the game on tv anyways. For their purpose, it is good enough that the information takes about the same time as it takes to broadcast it and there's no incentive to invest money in speeding up the process. Edit : like others commented, the sportsbook may also pay extra to receive the info a little bit faster than the media outlets. It goes in line with everything else : books have an incentive to spend more to have the information faster whereas media posts for the information, but they don't need it to be accurate to the second.
